As a part of the corporate art program European Property Development (EPD) and CEE-Invest v.o.s. exhibit contemporary Czech art in the Praha City Center.
Born in Prague in 1949, Šárka Radová represents the third generation of a family of notable Czech artists. Her grandfather was a painter, while both her parents were ceramic artists. From 1963-73 she studied at the School of Applied Arts in Prague, and from 1974 she regularly took part in international symposia and exhibitions in Italy, Hungary, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic.
Of all the materials which she has tried out during her work, she has settled on porcelain. She uses it either independently or in combination with papier maché, acrylic paints and water. The human figure is a central theme of her work.
The exhibition showcases Šárka Radová's objects and reliefs. Its title, "Fragile Position," comes from a work of the same name.
The exhibition is open to public everyday from MO – FRI, from 9.00 a.m. to 17.30 p.m.
