On Wednesday 12 November 2008, a private viewing of an exhibition paintings by Jaromír Másler took place in the building Praha City Center. The exhibition was opened by PhDr. Rea Michalová, the National Theatre curator.

Painter Jaromir Masler has been exhibiting on regular bases since 1988 not only in the Czech Republic but also in Austria, Germany, Italy, Poland, Rumania and Lichtenstein. The colors in his painting symbolically cover melancholy, indifference and estrangement of man and women in today’s world full of technique. Even though his figures often appear with a mobile phone, they don’t manager to communicate and find the beauty of the life in its nature.

The works in the exhibition are for sale. It continues until 31 December 2008, and can be visited by the public on weekdays from 10:00 to 17:00 on the 1st floor.
