As a part of the corporate art program European Property Development (EPD) and CEE-Invest v.o.s. exhibit contemporary Czech art in the Praha City Center.
Jan Soucek, painter, illustrator and graphic artist, was born in 1941. In 1969 he graduated at Academy of Applied Arts in Prague specializing in cartoon drawing. Since 1971 the artist has showed his work at numerous exhibitions in Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, Yugoslavia, Rumania, Bulgaria, Austria, France, USA and Belgium. His paintings and prints belong to the style of "imginative realism" and are represented in collections of the galleries and museums in Czech Republic, Switzerland and Germany and many private collections in Europe and USA.
Adam Soucek shows his work together with his father Jan. He graduated in 1997 at the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague. The artist specialises in print making and restoring. His works were exhibited in Czech and Slovak Republic and Switzerland.
The exhibition is open to the public from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The exhibition lasts until February, 20, 2002.
